DC Charging Enhancer (D050S)

I bought this piece of kit solely to be able to charge my new B230 expansion battery in the back of my vehicle from the Charger 1 while I’m driving giving me over 500w input.

The B230 only has one barrel socket for input and the charger has MP4 connectors so I needed a bridge connection.

I have connected it to one of my Bluetti 350w solar panels but really got no better result than connecting them in parallel and feeding through the aviation plug to the ACMax

I could also use it to charge the expansion battery from solar locating the battery next to the solar panels for optimal sun but haven’t needed to because the Charger1 is so easy and efficient to use. Also the Bluetti solar panels which are quite large and heavy to set up have been disappointingly under performing to date even in full sun not reaching more than 280w for either of them!

Although it doesn't pack huge amounts of power step up its a handy trickle charger (around 100w) that can power the 200max overnight on a lead acid battery which is similar to what my fridge is using overnight. Handy.
